Rooftop Air-Conditioning Unit Design & Filing in NYC - Equipment-Use Permit - New York City

Updated: Dec 31, 2022

Built completed a new 17.5-Ton packaged rooftop unit filing for an office building in Queens, NY.

It included a new packaged rooftop unit to be tied into existing boiler and hot-water coil.

This project was completed as part of a plumbing and mechanical filing at the NYC DOB.

New ductwork, air-devices, and controls were included as part of the project.

We coordinated for the ACP-5, PW4, and Equipment Use Cards and ensured all proper compliance with the associated regulatory agencies.

The job has been recently signed off at the DOB and equipment-use permits were received. This will prevent any future equipment-use permit violations at the FDNY.

The system is reportedly functioning well and everyone is working comfortably in the space.
